Interview with Mr. L

"When it comes to children’s education in Japan, private schools are extremely competitive, while public schools are relatively relaxed. For us Chinese parents living here, one thing is almost non-negotiable: we make sure our children learn Chinese. It’s not just about language—it’s about their future.

In the past, resources were limited, so it wasn’t easy to arrange Chinese lessons. But now things have changed. There are plenty of online courses, and it’s simple to find teachers directly from China. The quality of teaching has improved a lot, too, so making sure our kids keep up their Chinese is no longer difficult."
